Due to a great popularity of cycling for recreational and competitive purposes three mountain bike trails have been created and marked in the area of the Kozara National Park in cooperation with Pro-cycling Cycling Club, Prijedor.
Above-mentioned trails will provide all fans of excitement and adrenaline and hilly rides with not only enjoyment of riding a two wheeler but also enjoyment of the Kozara National Park natural beauties.
The diversity of plants and animals, forest complexes, viewpoints, glades, brooks and dynamic relief will make your ride more attractive.
The trails can be used by both recreational and professional mountain biking fans for the purpose of training and competitions. The trails use existing communications such as asphalt and macadam roads, dirt roads, skid roads and hiking trails.
These loop trails begin and end at Mrakovica, the central part of the Kozara National Park. The shortest trail is 4 km in length, with an elevation of 175 m. It is a recreational trail and it stretches in the area of Mrakovica. Other trails are created as competitive ones, but they can also be used for recreational purposes. A smaller trail is 34 km in length, with an elevation of 1500 m, and the other one is 64 km in length, with an elevation of 2350 m.
All trails are marked with yellow MTB signs placed along the trails.

KOZARA CYCLING ROUTE
Kozara cycling route, with a total length of 30 km, connects the Kozara National Park, the Mostanica monastery and Kozarska Dubica. Along the route blue cycling signs such as road signs and boards with the maps of the route have been placed.
The route mostly runs through the Kozara National Park and a beautiful landscape consisting of deciduous and coniferous forests and the river Mostanica valley. Four rest areas and three springs are situated along the route connecting the Kozara National Park and the Mostanica monastery. The rest areas containing wooden canopies, tables, benches and bicycle holders are located in Vodice, Jojin bunar, Pasini konaci i Kojinac. Cyclists can refresh themselves at springs located in Mrakovica, Jojin bunar and Kojinac.
The route connecting the Kozara National Park and the Mostanica monastery is 15 km in length and it runs along the macadam regional road R477a Mrakovica – Mostanica – Kozarska Dubica.
Kozara cycling route is a part of 60 km long international route which connects the Kozara National Park, Mostanica, Kozarska Dubica, Jasenovac and the Lonjsko polje Nature Park in Croatia.
