The outline of National Park, based on the presentation
of exlusively historical content – is history.
Natural heritage has become the essence of touristic proposal. The perfect natural area of National Park has
been used for the creation of health-recreation tours. The visitors, who wish to spend time on the
area of National Park, enjoying the beautiful landscapes and horizons,
while improving their psycho-physical shape, can participate in picnics
on the domain of National Park “Kozara”.

On Mrakovica, there has been created the 800 meters
long ski-path and established ski-lifts. There are conditions for skiers
of all ages, who, from now, can enjoy in this attractive winter sport.
Regional products, handicrafts, maintenance of the tradition
of old culinary arts of Kozara and surrounding places – are the basic
elements of touristic development. Environmental
(mountain) architecture of bungalows which are under construction, on
Mrakovica and Benkovac, the establishment of cooperation with textile
factory “Ethno-art” in Prijedor, production of souvenirs in our own
workshop – will complete ethno-contents and ethno-interiors of all facilities
in NP “Kozara”!
Around National Park crowds eight Potkozaric communities
and each of them has two or three hunting clubs. Special hunting area, in the charge of National
Park, provides great opportunities for the development of hunting tourism. |
